  Set in pretty village surroundings, five minutes' walk from the banks of the River Thames, The Kings Arms is a traditional village pub offering all the welcoming friendly service and great food and drink that such a monicker implies.

  With a selection of real ales including local brews and a healthy wine list there's lots of reasons to come through the door at the King's Arms - but rest assured that once you're in the tempting delights of the menu will ensure you linger.

  The menu includes something for everyone, with all the usual pub classics covered (keep an eye out for their home made pie of the day) along with more unusual options and a host of freshly prepared chef's specials, which vary depending on what fresh ingredients the kitchen has been able to source.

  Our picks are the tiger prawns in coconut tempura batter and baked camembert with rowanberry & apple jelly starters and the lamb shoulder roasted with sundried tomatoes, garlic & rosemary. Just make sure that whatever you plump for you leave room for pudding.
